Part 2 (Here is Part 1)
As people of faith we ought not live with a mindset of lack. We don't speak from an empty place. Rather scripture says your cup and mine runs over with blessings, grace, and mercy in each moment. It runs over from a place that is ever flowing from all eternity. The love and power and fullness of Christ runs through you and me. Meaning, there is no end to the blessings and provision of God; no end to the goodness and grace of God; there is no end to the beauty and the holiness of El Shaddai, the Lord God Almighty! Yeah, it’s like that. Experiencing God in the Ordinary.
So, today I hope that your mindset has begun to shift away from half-empty to overflowing. Today I hope that you’re saying to yourself, “my cup is overflowing”.
Now experience it. Read this next part out loud: “Today I cut down fear and imaginations that envision lack and emptiness. I am full to overflowing! My life is good! I am great! God within me is power and strength and the blessed assurance my cup runs over!”
Read this part even louder: “I am amazing and loved! I am accomplished and lack no good thing. I am living in my blessing. My cup springs forth with everlasting life and resources for living that come from the wellspring of God! It never ends. It never fails. It never runs low or slow. It never ceases. It is always springing forth like a geyser reaching heaven showering forth with abundance in every area of my life. God has anointed my head with oil, my cup runs over!” (Read this as many times as you need.)
Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times
and in every way. The Lord be with you all.
